Whoever reads bios? Looks like too many words just to read about accomplishments and awards, boring. I look to change that outlook. Real estate for me runs in the family. Back during my teenage years, my mom hired me at her job, she was a Title Officer for Puget Sound Title Company in Tacoma, WA. My first exposure to the world of title and escrow. Placed at a desk, writing names onto a deed of trust. What is this, I asked? Years carried on with my auntie (mom’s cousin) who worked as a recorder and my first cousin worked in customer service. Did I say real estate runs in the family? I went about my years working in title then I turned my focus to college and attended Hawaii Pacific University where I obtained my Bachelors in Business Management. Goodbye title and escrow.
I was enjoying the young glory years of being in the tourism industry, working as a front desk clerk, then manager. When the hotel sold, I obtained my real estate license and mortgage broker license, learned everything I could, and started running the mortgage company. It was extremely fruitful during 2006-2008 and then, it crashed. The market bottomed out, we closed the business. Goodbye mortgage lending.
After my one-year sabbatical, I joined a locally owned brokerage as a full-time Real Estate Agent. Learning everything I could but wasn’t confident in my knowledge. So, I attended courses to obtain my Masters in Real Estate, now accredited through Columbia University. I was the first Real Estate Agent in Hawaii to complete the program established by the National Association of REALTORS®. It was certainly an achievement, but it did not stop there. I obtained my other designations: AHWD, CRS, RSPS, SRES; only to yearn for more. During those years, I achieved the Most Transactions award two years consecutively, missed the Salesperson of the Year by 1 or 2 transactions for the same two years, was Salesperson of the Month numerous times, and other things. Amongst all the awards there was a deeper yearning to learn about the upper echelon of the business, being an owner. The brokerage firm was owned by partners, which is more common in law firms. I desired to become one and worked my way through the ranks until I achieved the title, Partner. I was an owner of the biggest real estate company in Hawaii along with other ventures held under the parent company.
Now in the present day, I began obsessed with working in both Seattle and Hawaii after acquiring my grandfather’s estate in 2021. My family and friends pulled me to WA and my family and job pulled me to Hawaii. Why choose when I can do both? I aligned myself with Compass, a company that can serve both markets. I’ve been exposed to the title, mortgage lending, real estate sales, partnership, and now servicing two markets with an amazing company. I can feel an explosive growth in the relocation and luxury markets are coming for me.
Since 2021, I became the Principal of Estates Team with associates that assist with servicing clients but also enhance their business growth. In 2022, I joined a new development team for a local reputable developer selling over 1,000 units. As Sales Manager, I lead the team to an almost sell out of all units and the development broke ground in 2025 with completion to be ending of 2027. I enjoy managing an almost $1 Billion dollar development and now new development is another arsenal within my tool belt.
My years of experience with numerous awards, accomplishments, education, and leadership skills have prepared me for what is to come. After helping hundreds of families and managing or selling more than half a billion dollars in volume between residential resales and new development, I'm more than qualified to be of service to you.
